Freight Elevator Manual Interlocks

TRICO provides quality, dependable manual interlocks which carry the UL and NYC MEA approval.

There are three types of manual interlocks that can be used on manual hoistway freight elevator doors. These include:

• TRO switch together with the center latch assembly or a double latch assemble and the outer bars and outer bar guides. Use these manual interlocks when you have a complete manual operation.
• TBU2 lock and contact. These manual interlocks are used for manual doors with a fixed cam.
• TBU59 lock and contact with top zone switch contact. When you have manual doors with a retiring cam you would use these manual interlocks.

Please note these manual interlocks are all handed, so please specify hand when ordering. To determine hand, when you are inside the freight elevator looking out whatever side the manual interlock is on is the hand you need to order from TRICO.
